Mercury in retrograde until February 21. This happens three or four times a year when the planets seem to move from west to east rather than east to west. Mercury Retrograde is said to cause technological glitches, cell phone problems, bad deals, miscommunication, missed opportunities, etc. and cause unexpected chaos in our lives. It is a good thing to pause in the storm, and re-evaluate situations going on. Pay attention to details and revise so you use your energy positively. Pause and consider how much of past (unnecessary) issues are triggered. Perhaps we need to revisit some past issues and look at them with fresh new eyes. Release ‘stuff’ that is just not applicable to your today’s health and healing.
I have done a painting of a horse painted, in the foreground of Old Chief Mountain. Old Chief Mountain was framed in my family room windows and always visible when I was growing up, as well. The horse stands for protection, courage, strength/stamina, travel, grace and nobility, and honor.
The horse is pausing in front of a storm and I have painted symbols from my patterns in life with many breaks shown as well. It was good to revisit my childhood and young adulthood with a focus on the love I received.
How would you create something to represent Mercury in retrograde in your life?
