I have done a totally symbolic piece in this painting. I used the symbols associated with Brigid.
The eagle represents freedom and courage and insight.
The Wolf represents intense loyalty to the clan/tribe with a balance of independence. It also represents cooperation within the clan/tribe, protectiveness and the value of extended families.
The Salmon represents instinct, persistence and determination.
The Celtic Tree of Life represents balance and harmony in nature, reach for the sky and rooted in the ground, and a symbol of longevity, wisdom and strength.
As well, there is representation of the moon, water and the forest.
All these are considered in the understanding of Bridgit and my personal totem story.
What would your totem creativity show and why?
