Pandora was much maligned. Her name means “all gifted” and lives with us as a yearning. We yearn to conquer. We yearn to conquer chaos and darkness. It is her voice that asks the questions. In uncomfortable experiences do we learn that not all is lost, that there is light of a new revelation for us.
She is all-giving, when we feel guilt and need to forgive ourselves.
She is the one that begs us to stop beating ourselves up over past things that we cannot correct by any other way but through being right in such a situation again.
She yearns for us to stop our own torment.
Dare to disobey anything that is not divine.
Shrug off misery, despair, and weight you have been burdening yourself with.
Spend this day seeking your light. There is something needed, beautiful and very necessary about you. Find it.
Today, I will see only the box and the light upon it, not the darkness within. It is way too easy to see the darkness. What is a challenge is to look only at the light that is shed upon things that I have allowed to haunt me.
