In the new art journal I made, first page... I am grateful for May and the Goddess Maia it was named for. The veil between here and the world of tiny spirits (fairies) is thin. Watch for that flicker of light, a quick shadow that disappears when you look. They are there.
Release anything holding you back from enjoying the bursts of color. Buy some colorful plants and start adding more color to your world. Get fairy lights. Make a spot somewhere in your house or in your yard that is for fairies. You do not believe in the little people? That is okay. Make a spot anyways, who knows, we cannot know what some have witnessed. A rock put on your doorstep. A blossom sitting on your patio table. Shiny things showing up in your garden. Could be?
Maia is the goddess of the mountain and she sheds great strength on you today. Her name means “Great Mother”, and Maia is a Greek feminine name. today you will feel a great sense of nurturing. She is who will have you wanting to get out and start planting things. She is very much an Earth goddess and she will affect you in that way.
Go, now, and decorate your garden as if it were your soul.
