Accepting The 'Magic' Journey

“And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.”
Roald Dahl

When we begin to take responsibility for our footprints on Mother Earth; when we begin to be respectful of our role in Creation; when we begin to realize our journey has been, is, and will be, a hero's journey, then we realize that every time we make order and arrange things in our life, we are truly magicians.  Perhaps you thought of magic as something blessed, miraculous and mysterious.  Well, then you thought correctly.

We must know how much power is in our every movement, thought, speech, and we react from those sacred space (or not sacred spaces).  We create our own lives and, like it or not, we are here and here we are!  We are not here to be above anyone else or to wield power over others.  Nor are others able to do so over us.  We learn lessons; sometimes we learn the by ourselves and sometimes we learn for others.  We learn that the past is but an eye blink away and it is there and stays there, as there is no ways to change the past, other than make our present a better choice or better outcome than before.  Some of us do not get second chances. Some of us stay trapped in the 'magic-less' place of being victim, or martyr and we do not further our journey down here on Mother Earth.  The magic in continuing on our journey towards the next life is that we have to learn to give ourselves to happenings, fearlessly.  We cannot do that as a victim or a martyr.  We have to trust ourselves; or, learn to trust ourselves with better choices, better outcomes that change the magic in life.

We were never able, nor able, nor will be able, to force anything.  We can only participate in the adventure of life through our choices.  We learn cause and effect.  We learn discipline and most of us rebel against that.  We have had to learn to walk on, to walk through, to walk away.  We learn to be more in touch with ourselves:  our deep, abiding, authentic soul, within.  We learn that there are no true quick fixes and we know the lessons will keep returning until we get them.  We learn that peace and dignity and grace is our greatest reward for getting things right.  We learn it might take a lifetime (maybe, lifetimes).  We learn, like it or not, to be humbled because we begin to truly know what pain and suffering we might have caused with our footsteps down here on earth.  We learn responsibility.  And, as we do, the magic of renewal, resurrection of authentic self, restoration, and know our shine as well as our shadows.  Then comes the magic; not fleeting, not obsessively, not ego-driven...we learn the magic of being ourselves in life.

Be magic, sister-friends. Be magic!
