Crystals carry the powerful energies of creations volcanic heat and the waters seeping dep into the ground. Some people are naturally drawn to specific crystals by their own energies being attracted to the energies of the crystal. Some can even feel the crystals vibrating with energy. Some people know that crystals are healing. It is well known, after thousands of years of history, that each crystal carries a different type of energy that can affect body, mind and spirit, much like the full moon affects us.
I have been studying the healing properties of crystals for several years and have been working in our lapidary shop to slab, grind, and polish crystals. But healing is stronger if the stones is cleaned but left raw as possible. I take some time to make a hanging or pendant of necklace for someone for specific reasons. I do the write up to go with the purchased objects that contain crystals specific for a need.
Here is an example of one I have done for someone that is shown at the beginning of this blog:
I have smudged and asked for direction. Each stone and addition has been smudged and asked to help you. As I worked on your necklace, I have had a smudge going while I worked. It took a few days for me to solidify what crystals should be used, what other bobbles should be added, and how it should be presented. Each piece is individualized for a purpose for a specific person.

The Obsidian on this necklace is a Midnight Lace. It is said to help with courage and self-discovery. This will help when working with a therapist. I choose a large piece because , as I smudged, I felt the hard work it takes for you to go on the journey of healing and the courage it is taking.
Clear quartz – The flatter stone is clear quartz that helps you delve deep into your spirit and encourages spiritual growth especially when the spirit has been traumatized. It connects with all the chakras, clears out blockages, and helps to release anything that does not belong in your present. It is a cleanser.
Selenite is the crystal that helps with sexual cleansing, in this case.
The tiny red glass beads represent a passing away of your old life, it helps with healing needed due to the sacrifices you have made because of trauma.
The tiny amber glass beads represent childhood. They help take you to the child within.
The tree represents the tree of life.
The leaf represents new beginnings.
The circles/rings represent the healing to come, the wholeness you can attain.
Thank you for trusting me with this. Since I live so far away, if something should come loose, you can use E6000 glue to attach better. Usually, I would have it sent back to me to fix but it is costly to send it through the mail. As well, be sure and charge the crystals in the necklace. Set it on a windowsill during the full moon. Even if it is a cloudy night, it will charge. Your jewelry of crystals is sacred. Do not leave it out for others to touch. Keep it precious and specific for you.
